New Product ~ LPV-150 Series (150W Economical LED Power Supply)

▣ Introduction

Due to the continual worldwide promotions for green product concepts, the demand for LED applications, featuring the energy efficiency, keeps ramping up in the lighting fields. After releasing the constant voltage models, LPL-18/LPH-18 (18W), LPV-20(20W), LPV-35(35W), LPV-60(60W) and LPV-100(100W), MEAN WELL extends the wattage to 150W, unveiling LPV-150 series, a constant voltage LED switching power supply with plastic enclosure. This series accepts 180~305VAC at input and provides 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V at output, the five most frequently-used DC voltage for LED applications. LPV-150 is a
class II (no FG) power unit, equipped with the 94V-0 flame retardant plastic case. In addition, it does not have the active PFC function, which allows LPV-150 to be highly competitive in terms of cost.

LPV-150 series adopts the IP67 protection level design, sufficiently preventing the internal electrical components from the damage of dust and moisture. The interior of this model is fully potted with heat-conducted silicone, effectively enhancing the heat dissipation capability; moreover, with the efficiency up to 90%, the entire series, though without the built-in fan, can work under -25~+65℃ with free air convection. The input and output ends are paired with 18AWGx2C and 14AWGx2C wires, respectively, that facilitate the assembly at various types of system or operating environments. Other functions cover the short circuit protection, the overload protection, the over voltage protection and the over temperature protection. The suited applications include the indoor and outdoor LED signage, LED decorative lighting, building wall wash lighting, LED strips, and etc, the luminaries involving in the constant voltage LED driving applications.
