▣ Introduction After launching HSP-150/250, HDP-190/240, and NEL-200/300/400, the high performance sign panel power supplies, MEAN WELL unveils the ultra low profile slender sign panel power supply with up to 200W rated-power, HSN-200 series. HSN-200 series adopts the 31mm ultra low profile design and the width is 62mm only, allowing the dimension and weight of the sign module to be lowered, lessening the manufacture cost as well as relieving the inconvenience from installation. This series incorporates the non-PFC design, achieving a high efficiency up to 88% with a low cost, that the system performance is enhanced so both energy saving and electricity expense reduction can be fulfilled. The whole series comprises two types with different input range: the A-Type accepts 90~132VAC and the B-Type accepts 180~264VAC. The output side supplies 4.2VDC and 5VDC, making HSN-200 work with both the old and new generations of the sign panel driver ICs, greatly raising the system design flexibility. HSN-200 exploits a fanless design; when mounted on an aluminum plate or the cabinet of sign panel module (minimal size 450 x 450 x 3 mm), this series can work at -25℃ through +70℃ with free air convection. This series is also complied with UL60950-1, assuring the usage safety. Other built-in standard functions include short circuit protection, overload protection, over voltage protection, and over temperature protection.
