New Product ~ PSC-35 Series [35W Single Output Security Power Supply (with Battery Charger)]

▣ Introduction

MEAN WELL PSC series, which targets at the security application (apart from the primary output, there is one additional charger output with a relatively small current enabling the DC UPS application with a back-up battery), has been adopted by several global leading manufacturers of security monitoring system since unveiled. In addition to 60W(PSC-60), 100W(PSC-100), and 160W(PSC-160) series, MEAN WELL is now announcing the 35W model~ PSC-35 series to fulfill the demands for low power security applications or small-scale battery back-up applications. Like other PSC series, PSC-35 is able to be offered in either the PCB type or the enclosed type (with L-bracket and cover) configuration for different application requirements.

PSC-35 series accepts the input from 90VAC through 264VAC; at the output end, 13.8VDC (adjustable range 12~15VDC) and 27.6VDC (adjustable range 24~29VDC) are provided, respectively, to fulfill the most frequently-used voltage demand for security application, 12VDC and 24VDC. The working efficiency of this series is up to 86% and the entire series can operate between -30℃ and +70℃ under free air convection. PSC-35 series is designed with complete protection functions, including short circuit protection, overload protection, over voltage protection, battery low protection, and battery reverse polarity protection (by fuse). It also provides the alarm function, via TTL signal output, for AC OK and battery low. Moreover, PSC-35 series is complied with international certificates such as UL, CUL, TUV, CB, and CE. Suitable applications include security systems, emergency lighting systems, alarm systems, DC UPS systems, central monitoring systems, access systems, and etc.
