New Product ~ IRM-30 Series (30W Miniature On Board Type Power Supply)

▣ Introduction After launching IRM-05/10/15/20 AC/DC module type power supply series, in order to satisfy the demand for higher wattage applications, MEAN WELL unveils the new 30W IRM-30 series. IRM-30 is an on board type power supply, ready to be soldered onto the PCB of various kinds of electronic instruments or industrial automation equipments. The volume is extremely low that it greatly helps system designers solve the tough issue of PCB space limitation. Moreover, thanks to the ultra low no load power consumption (<0.1W), the adoption of IRM-30 allows the system to easily meet the low power consumption requirement regulated by worldwide energy efficiency norms. IRM-30 series accepts the full range 85~264VAC input and provides 5 models with different single output DC voltage, 5V/12V/15V/24V/48V. The entire series is a Class II design (no FG), incorporating the built-in EMI filter components, enabling the compliance with EN55022 Class B; the supreme EMC characteristics keep the end electronic units from electromagnetic interference. The efficiency is up to 90%, and it can work at -30℃~+70℃ under free air convection. This series exploits the 94V-0 flame retardant plastic enclosure and the interior is filled with heat conductive silicone, which enhances the heat dissipation ability, fulfills 5G anti-vibration demand, and possesses the fundamental resistance to dust and moisture. The complete protection functions consist of short circuit protection, overload protection, and over voltage protection. This series is also approved by various regulations such as UL, CUL, TUV, CB, and CE, assuring the safety for usage. In addition to the standard model in module form factor, IRM-30 also offers the terminal block type as optional models (IRM-30-ST).
