After the launch of MSP-300 (300W) series, MEAN WELL further introduced the 200W AC/DC medical enclosed type power supply ~ MSP-200 series. With the features of high efficiency, low leakage current (≦450μA), extreme low no load power consumption (<0.5W), 1U low profile (38mm) and 5 years warranty, MSP-200 series comply with international medical safety regulations (MOOP level) and EMI Class B level, which can fulfill the high quality demands of medical applications and are the good power solutions for medical measurement equipments and non-patient contact medical applications. With up to date high frequency switching technology, MSP-200 possesses up to 89% of high efficiency, so it can be cooled by free air convection at +40℃ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +70℃ by suitable derating. The standard functions include remote sense, protections for short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage, and over temperature. In addition, MSP- 200 series equip with the function of 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, which can reduce the damages caused by the unstable AC main. Meanwhile, these new models equip with built-in remote ON/ OFF control and 5V/0.3A standby output to achieve the goal of “no load power consumption <0. 5W”, hence, they can be used in all kinds of “green mode” medical equipments or electric devices and fulfill the energy-saving requirements for end systems.
