▣ Introduction
In order to fulfill the demand for the highly reliable 60W AC/DC adaptor, which is suitable to operate under highly dusty and highly moist environment, from the market, Mean Well is pleased to unveil the OWA-60E series with IP67-protection-level power body, after the 90W moistureproof adaptor OWA-90E series was released to the market. The circuit design accounts for the latest international energy related regulations regarding the no load power consumption wattage and the average working efficiency; moreover, the working efficiency is high up to 91%. OWA-60E is thus a high performance adaptor conforming to the new generation energy efficiency trend.
The entire OWA-60E series complies with the international safety regulation EN61558-2-16; in addition, the 12V~42V models are also in compliance with EN60335-1. Therefore, this series is able to significantly simplify the design planning of the system product (for example: household electronic appliances). The suitable applications include: robotic lawn mowers, battery chargers, residential electronics, the equipments that will be operated under highly dusty and highly moist environment, etc.
